Local.conf network settings

Kaminski, PawelX

Hi everyone,

With vagrant I created ubuntu18 image with devstack installed.

I try to run test tempest.api.compute.volumes.test_attach_volume.AttachVolumeTestJSON.test_attach_detach_volume with tempest.

Unfortunately I get error:

    Traceback (most recent call last):

      File "tempest/api/compute/volumes/test_attach_volume.py", line 86, in test_attach_detach_volume

        linux_client.validate_authentication()

      File "tempest/lib/common/utils/linux/remote_client.py", line 60, in wrapper

        six.reraise(*original_exception)

      File "tempest/lib/common/utils/linux/remote_client.py", line 33, in wrapper

        return function(self, *args, **kwargs)

      File "tempest/lib/common/utils/linux/remote_client.py", line 116, in validate_authentication

        self.ssh_client.test_connection_auth()

      File "tempest/lib/common/ssh.py", line 207, in test_connection_auth

        connection = self._get_ssh_connection()

      File "tempest/lib/common/ssh.py", line 121, in _get_ssh_connection

        password=self.password)

    tempest.lib.exceptions.SSHTimeout: Connection to the 172.24.5.241 via SSH timed out.

    User: cirros, Password: password

I think that reason is that I don't have driect ssh access to vm, because with "it netns exec" I can connect to instance.

Do you know how local.conf should look like before devtsack installation?

On vm ifconfig returns:
